ZISHI Launches UK-Regulated Financial Trading Diplomas Across Indian Higher Education

New initiative supports India’s higher-education and employability targets through globally regulated qualifications

London | India, 11 February 2026 — ZISHI, the global financial education and professional training specialist, has announced the launch of its India Trading Diploma Initiative, commencing February 2026. The initiative extends ZISHI’s established UK university delivery model into India, supporting national priorities to expand access to skills-based, employment-ready higher education.

The programme enables Indian higher-education institutions to integrate UK-regulated financial trading qualifications directly into undergraduate, postgraduate and professional pathways. It builds on ZISHI’s proven track record delivering accredited qualifications in partnership with leading UK universities, combining academic rigour with immersive, industry-informed learning.

India’s higher-education system is operating at unprecedented scale, with more than 43 million students currently enrolled across over 1,300 universities and 45,000 colleges. National targets to raise the Gross Enrolment Ratio to 50% by 2035 are expected to expand participation to between 70 and 80 million learners.

As institutions respond to this growth, demand is increasing for internationally benchmarked programmes support strengthening employability without compromising academic or regulatory standards. ZISHI has been engaged to support this transition, bringing a proven, UK-regulated university delivery model that enables institutions to scale skills-based education while maintaining quality assurance and global recognition.

Programme launch and institutional partners

The India rollout commences in February, with delivery structured on a phased basis. Initial institutional partners include Derivion International School of Business & Finance and Neki Ram Sharma Government College, with ZISHI delivering the Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Financial Trading as part of their academic and professional programmes.

Further institutional onboarding and the introduction of additional qualifications are planned for later in 2026, subject to institutional approvals and formal agreements.

Regulated qualifications integrated into degree pathways

All programmes are UK-regulated and accredited, governed under Ofqual regulation and positioned on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). The initial qualification offered is the Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Financial Trading.

Programmes are available as standalone professional qualifications and as credit-bearing modules embedded within existing degree structures. Typical delivery duration is six to eight weeks, enabling rapid development of work-ready skills alongside formal academic study.

Scalable delivery with consistent academic standards

Programme delivery is built on ZISHI’s established UK university framework, applying the same academic standards, practitioner-led teaching model and assessment approach used in regulated UK higher-education delivery. Instruction is led by expert trainers with direct industry experience as former practitioners, supported by structured digital self-study and access to ZISHI’s education portal. This ensures consistent quality and academic rigour while enabling scalable delivery across institutional contexts.

Leadership perspectives

Robert Russell, Global Head of Professional Trader Qualifications at ZISHI, said:

“This initiative is fundamentally about collaboration and opportunity. By working closely with Indian higher-education institutions, we are embedding UK-regulated trading qualifications into formal academic pathways, giving students access to applied learning and internationally recognised credentials alongside their degree studies.”

Danny Langley, Chief Executive Officer of ZISHI, added:

“India’s higher-education ambitions are creating exciting opportunities for collaboration at scale. Our role is to work alongside institutions as they expand participation and evolve curricula, helping students access globally relevant skills and recognised professional pathways. This launch reflects our long-term commitment to India’s education ecosystem, built on partnership, regulation and measurable outcomes.”

Advancing employability and progression

The initiative establishes a clear academic and professional progression pathway, enabling learners to advance from regulated diploma study into higher-level qualifications and professional routes over time. Programme design is informed by industry practice and employer expectations, ensuring learning outcomes remain aligned with real-world financial markets and graduate-level roles.

By combining regulatory credibility, scalable delivery and employability relevance, ZISHI positions the India Trading Diploma Initiative as a high-impact contribution to India’s evolving skills-based education agenda.
