02 February 2026 — The Institute of Banking Studies (IBS) and ZISHI have signed a first-of-its-kind cooperation agreement to advance capability across Jordan’s financial services sector. The Memorandum of Understanding brings together IBS’s national mandate and ZISHI’s international expertise to deliver practitioner-led programmes supporting banking and financial services development in the Kingdom.

The agreement brings together IBS’s nationally recognised role in developing the Kingdom’s financial sector with ZISHI’s international expertise in executive education and capability building, setting a new benchmark for professional development and knowledge transfer in Jordan.
Under the cooperation framework, IBS will partner with ZISHI, a leading international provider of financial services education and capability building, to deliver a programme of high-impact seminars, workshops, open programmes and sector-focused events in Jordan. These initiatives will address priority capability needs across banking and financial services, including emerging risks, regulatory expectations and evolving market dynamics, aligned with international best practice and local sector requirements.
ZISHI will design and deliver learning programmes on behalf of IBS, leveraging its practitioner-led faculty, deep sector expertise and technology-enabled delivery model. Programmes will be tailored to the Jordanian context while incorporating global market insight and advanced learning formats, supporting relevance, scalability and measurable outcomes across the financial services sector.
Danny Langley, Chief Executive Officer of ZISHI Group Ltd, said:
“This partnership with the Institute of Banking Studies reflects our belief that meaningful capability development must be grounded in real-world practice and local priorities. IBS plays a vital role in strengthening Jordan’s financial sector, and we are proud to support that mandate through practitioner-led programmes that connect global experience with the realities facing financial institutions today.”
Dr Riyad Al-Hindawi, General Director of the Institute of Banking Studies, commented:
“The cooperation agreement with ZISHI aligns with IBS’s strategic objective to continuously enhance the quality, relevance and impact of professional development offered to the financial sector in Jordan. Through this partnership, we will introduce specialised programmes that combine international expertise with local insight, supporting the sector’s ability to respond effectively to change and complexity.”
By combining national sector leadership with global expertise, the collaboration aims to deliver sustained value for financial institutions and professionals operating in an increasingly interconnected environment. Further details on programmes and activities under the agreement will be announced in due course.
