Course Modules

• Financial Markets and Operations
  Learners will develop the knowledge and skills to understand and analyse how financial markets operate, with an overview of economic history and its influence on today’s markets. They will learn to explain supply and demand within current economics and be able to define financial technical analysis. Students will also learn how to compare and analyse different chart types and evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of market analysis.
• Financial Products and Associated Risk
  Learners will develop a sound knowledge of the different types of financial products and the risks associated with them. They will also gain an understanding of bond trading, foreign exchange and commodities, while assessing the factors that could influence risk. The module also covers short-term interest rates, index markets and how they influence trading.
• Financial Trading Techniques
  Learners will build advanced knowledge and practical trading skills. They will learn how to maintain a daily trading diary of market behaviours. They will understand how to evaluate the pricing support and resistance that creates supply and demand. Through expert mentorship, students will assess their own trading behaviours and produce a personal development plan for continued improvement.
